Where are WE going to fit?

Growing up in the 80s/90s, the game Tetris took over the world! Released in 1984, if you are unfamiliar with the game, you probably aren’t the demographic to be following this page. Tetris transitioned into life in many ways. Trying to get that last pair of emergency underwear in your luggage to fitting that luggage into the trunk. It’s funny that only when we pack to go on vacations, we plan to crap our pants at some point, and pack that extra pair. You know you do it!

Here we are, less than 48 hours from hitting the road. I’ve got more tools than an AutoZone, we have just enough clothing to stay alive from a biweekly laundry day and William’s school books and food. Necessities for survival (and even packed that extra pair of underwear). I’ve got a tent, spare tire, more toolboxes and gas cans strapped to the roof and just enough room to fit three people for this trip.

Every nook and every cranny has stuff packed away. Jamie is curious if we’re going to be overweight. William is curious if we have room for one more stuffed animal. We’ll have to wait and see on that one. We’ll officially hit the scales on our way out of town Monday. Don’t worry, I have a light dinner planned (everything left in the refrigerator).

Our rig is officially 12 feet one inch tall (3.683 meters) at its highest point. With the bikes on the back, we’re 27 feet long. Should prevent us from going through any drive throughs but shouldn’t have any issues with overpasses. If I’m as good at life Tetris as I was at the game Tetris, I have a good feeling WeirbackOnTrack!
